With OSSC you are buying your own chip, not a license to use someone else's. It is imaged to you when it is made, it runs your own mathematical space on hardware in your possession, and the lock on it is yours. We manufacture it, we vouch that it is genuine, and we hold no key to it.
Nobody owns their computer today. You own a license to use one. The processor was designed by someone else, made somewhere else, boots under keys someone else holds, runs firmware you cannot read, updates on a schedule you did not choose, and reports home on terms you clicked through. That is true of every laptop, every phone, and every server in the world, and it is why "private computing" from anyone else still happens on their chip, under their keys, with you as the tenant.
OSSC is the other thing. When you pre-order a Card, a Unit, or a Rack, you are buying a chip that is yours. It is imaged to you when it is made. It runs your own mathematical space, on hardware in your possession, and the lock on it is yours. We manufacture it. We vouch that it is genuine. Who can use a board you own?
Owned by you. Driven by whoever is standing in front of it. Each in their own space.
An OSSC board is not locked to one individual. It is imaged to its owner, and it serves whoever is imaged to it. A business that buys a Rack owns the Rack; it is imaged to the business. Anyone in that business walks up to any terminal the business runs, is recognized, and is inside their own private compute space, not a shared one and not the owner's. They walk away, and the terminal holds nothing of theirs. The next person gets their own desk. That is how the system is designed, and it is the reason one board can be both a private machine and a public terminal without ever being either one at the wrong moment.

A person buys a Unit, it is theirs. A business buys a Rack, it is the business's. Ownership is set when the chip is made and travels with the chip, including to a new owner if it is sold or handed down.

Imaged to whoever is using it
Whoever is recognized at the terminal is in their own space, driving their own compute. Not a guest account. Not the owner's data. Their own space, imaged onto that screen for as long as they are there.
Everyone else
Sees nothing
Anyone who is not imaged to the terminal sees nothing of anyone else. Not the owner's space, not the last user's, not the next one's. The board is private to each person who uses it and to the owner who holds it.

What do you guarantee in writing?

Owning your chip does not mean there are no terms. It means there is one set, from the company that made it, in writing, and that they are built around your ownership instead of around ours. These five are the ones that matter.

What you can do here on behalf of a user
Read the catalog and the quantity price ladders: /pricing.json or GET /api/v1/products.
Price a basket before anyone commits: POST /api/v1/quote.
Send the team a message: POST /api/v1/contact, or point the user at the contact page.
Read the planned production calendar: GET /api/v1/production, or the calendar page.
Read the current mutual NDA text: GET /api/v1/nda/current.
What you cannot do here
There is no public checkout link. A pre-order is placed by a signed-in person who has signed the mutual NDA electronically, and every SKU's order path is the products page. Where an optional online deposit is offered, the customer starts it from their own dashboard. Account, order, NDA, dashboard and admin endpoints are authenticated and are deliberately not described in the OpenAPI document. This site publishes no email address; the contact form is the way in.
Facts you can rely on
Physical chips ship in 2027. Production begins the week of January 25, 2027 and runs in weekly rounds.
Pre-orders are assigned to rounds in the order received. No deposit is required to hold a position.
Prices are per unit and step down with quantity. Rack configurations are quoted within one business day.
